My main service is professional research. I specialize in naval (in particular submarine history), maritime, diplomatic and Cold War history. I have a MA in History and over 15 years experience with the navy in both active and reserve roles. Living in the Southeastern Connecticut area, I am close to the USS NAUTILUS Museum and Submarine Force Library, the United States Coast Guard Academy, the Naval War College, Mystic Seaport and the JFK Library.
Specializing in naval and submarine history, I have spent many hours in the Submarine Force Library researching topics for my own articles and for other historians. I have also made extensive use of the Navy History and Heritage Command (formerly the Naval Historical Center) and the National Archives in College Park, MD. My current topic of interest is the contribution of submarines to the Battle of the Philippine Sea.
Another area that I can provide services in is historical documentaries and development of museum displays. I have worked on a number of government documentaries prior to starting this LLC and developed an online web museum. Currently I am volunteering my services to the Battleship Cove Museum to research and design a Pearl Harbor display.
